As we've stated before, A-line wedding dresses are considered to be the most universally flattering. Their fitted bodice and softly flared skirt gives us a fairytale feel that we know our brides love.

Keep it simple. Clothing that has too much going on pattern-wise will only accentuate your body and draw more attention to your frame. Try sticking with solid prints or minimally patterned items. This will help flatter the shape of your body, rather than bringing the eye directly to it.

A-line dresses flare out at the waist in a triangular fashion enabling you to create the perfect hourglass body shape. While this dress style is perfect for many body types, it's the perfect slimming dress for plus size. Whether size 12, size 14, or size 16, A-line dresses will fit plus-size women perfectly.

Plus-size wedding dresses are considered size 18 and above. Most plus-size ranges go to size 32, with some going up to size 40.

Bridal sizing isn't like typical street wear sizing. While you might be a size 4-6 in jeans, you're in fact a bridal size 8-10, and if you're a size 14-16, you're likely a 18-20. Don't worry about it–sizing is just a number! You'll likely see most of our samples in a bridal size 8, 10, 12, 18, 20 or 22 to try on.
